The Owner's Pokémon Mechanic

Chasing Glory Together centers on Owner's Pokémon — cards that pair a Trainer's name with their partner Pokémon. These are identified by the Trainer name in the card title: Misty's Magikarp, N's Zorua, Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex, and so on. The owner name isn't just flavor — it affects evolution, attack text, and deck synergy.

The evolution rule is strict: only Pokémon sharing the same Trainer name can evolve through the Owner's Pokémon line. Misty's Gyarados can evolve from Misty's Magikarp — but not from a regular Magikarp. This makes the set particularly interesting for players who enjoy building themed decks around a single Trainer identity.

The Chase Card: Brock's Scouting SIR (China Exclusive)

The standout reveal is a brand-new Special Illustration Rare of Brock's Scouting, illustrated by Atsushi Furusawa.
